DEL BENE, DEL MALE –\u00a0<\/strong>Ma cos’\u00e8 il Male?\u00a0\u00b9<\/strong><\/p>\n

Da millenni proviamo a dire, in infiniti modi,\u00a0che cos\u2019\u00e8 il male. A ogni violenza subita, per ogni\u00a0sopruso, invochiamo questo nome arcaico. Lo assegniamo\u00a0ai nostri piccoli tormenti quotidiani e ai\u00a0grandi desideri inappagati, alle inquietudini e ai\u00a0disagi, all’infelicit\u00e0 e all’ingiustizia che da sempre\u00a0ci pare governare il mondo. Alla morte, persino: il\u00a0male pi\u00f9 temibile di tutti. Comunque sia, ci\u00f2 che \u00e8\u00a0\u201cmale\u201d per noi non dovrebbe esistere affatto. Vorremmo\u00a0allontanarlo, scansarlo, cacciarlo via per\u00a0sempre dalla nostra vita.<\/p>\n

OF GOOD AND EVIL –\u00a0<\/strong>What is evil?\u00a0\u00b9<\/strong><\/p>\n

For centuries, we have tried to define, in infinite ways, what evil is. For every violence suffered, for every abuse, we invoke this archaic name. We assign it to our small daily torments and to the great unfulfilled desires, to the anxieties and inconveniences, to the unhappiness and injustice that has always seemed to govern the world. Even at death: the most fearsome evil of all. In any case, what is “bad” for us should not exist at all. We would like to move it away, avoid it, chase it away from our lives forever.<\/p>\n
